GAS LINES
- Earthquake gas shutoff valves - A safety device that will automatically terminate flow of gas during an earthquake measuring 5.4 or greater. No maintenance required after installation. Prevent tragedy and protect you and your loved ones.
- Gas shut off valves - For any reason, you should be able to close a gas shut off valve without the use of a wrench. Most original gas shut off valves are old and rusty and may leak once turned after several years.
- What is a BTU? - British Thermal Unit. The amount of energy used to heat one pound of water by one degree Fahrenheit. This unit is often used as measurement of power.
- Remodeling/Replacing gas line- When remodeling, we can properly size your gas line for your desired BTU load. Adding a fixture hook up, or upgrading the original gas line.
- Gas leak detection - Call F&A Plumbing now to safely test and locate any leaks. Gas lines are turned off then tested with air pressure to find any leaks.
